The Spirit in Man. Part one



"And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl if the air, and over the cattle and over all the earth and over every creeping things that creepeth upon the earth" Gen 1:26

Have you ever ask this question that why will God choose to create man after He as created every other things?
The answer is, God is a God of perfection and He wants to be worshiped. Therefore, all creatures God created before man cannot give Him a perfect worship neither can they create a perfect worship environment for Him. That's why God decided to form man after His own image which means God wants someone that will talk like Him, think like Him, walk like Him, and also walk with Him.

This doesn't mean God is lonely, NO! What God actually wants is another atmosphere of worship which He can delight in.
That's why after creating man the next thing He did was to release the breathe of life into man. "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breathe of life: and man became a living soul" Gen 2:7

This was the second step God took after He as proposed to create man, He released the breathe of life into man and that makes us a living soul. Many people are fond of saying "I own my life" that's not true! No man owns his/her life, God does. That's why the government would arrest you if you try to take your own life.
God made us a living soul so that we can live to worship Him, He gave us that life so that we can profit with it, and that's why that life isn't ours. The life God gave us is the spirit in us. He put His spirit in us so that He can freely communicate with us as well as having an uninterrupted access to us. "But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding" Job 32:8

The spirit God Has deposited in us is for us to be able to acknowledge Him in all our doings. God wants someone He can talk to, relate with, and also share things with. This can only be done through the spirit in us which is God's access point to us.
For example, every cell phone as a SIM port in which a SIM card can be slotted into. This SIM card however allows for people to reach themselves so also is the spirit in us. The spirit in us is like a SIM card that can receive and send messages to and from God. God has not given us the spirit for our own purpose that's why that spirit in us can not die because its immortal and its from God, and the best way we can use it is to profit with here on earth because that spirit is the life of God in us.

Why did Jesus come to this earth?

Some think Jesus came so we can become rich. Well, that’s wrong because before Jesus came, many people have been rich. The trend continues today because even people who do not believe in Jesus are also rich! During his earth walk, people thought Jesus was going to become a political leader and save the Jews from the Romans. Even his disciples thought along these lines. But that was not why Jesus came! There is always a day of complete strength, a day you feel fully charged and ready to take on anything, a day when you can literally feel the lion in you is ready to be unleashed, when praying for hours was not a problem, marathon fast is a hobby, you can preach from street to street without getting tired, even in church we know how devoted you are.
