The Remnant
Once, there was a battlefield covered in smoke and silence. The enemy had struck hard. What was once an army of thousands now lay scattered, some wounded, some weary, most gone. Only a few still stood, trembling but unbroken.
And heaven watched.
In that moment, God whispered, “These few, these are My remnant.”
Today, the body of Christ feels much the same. Churches are full, but conviction is rare. The crowd is loud, but true worship is quiet. Many wear the name “Christian,” yet only a few walk the narrow path when no one is watching.
We chase comfort, not the cross. We post Scripture, but not sacrifice. We sing of surrender while clinging to sin. And still, in the shadows of compromise, God is looking, not for the famous, not for the flawless, but for the faithful few.
The remnant.
They are the ones who still burn when others grow cold. The ones who still weep for souls while the world laughs at sin. The ones who refuse to bow when truth is mocked. They may be few, but those few carry heaven’s weight.
Elijah once thought he was alone, but God said, “I have reserved seven thousand who have not bowed to Baal.” (1 Kings 19:18)
The remnant has always been small—but always powerful.
When the shaking comes, when the lights go out and faith is tested, will you be among the few who still stand?
God doesn’t need the many, He moves through the few. And today, He’s calling you. Not to blend in, but to stand out. Not to fit the culture, but to carry His presence.
Be the remnant. Stand firm. Burn bright. Carry heaven’s weight.
Because when the world falls silent, God will speak through the ones still standing.
