I WILL RISE LIKE THE OTHER TIMES
There is always a day of complete strength, a day you feel fully charged and ready to take on anything, a day when you can literally feel the lion in you is ready to be unleashed, when praying for hours was not a problem, marathon fast is a hobby, you can preach from street to street without getting tired, even in church we know how devoted you are. However, it's been ages since we see you do all these. Then, something is wrong!
The body of Christ is suffering because you are no longer servicing your secret place. Issues of life have completely overwhelmed you and now things you use to do before are gradually becoming a story.
Nobody to reach out again, we are scared of what the people will say, how they will call you a spiritual brother, you are mindful of how silly they will think you are, the friends that will leave you. No wonder, many believers are hiding in the cave and can no longer operate as of the days of old. Oh, no wonder, Samson that was specifically anointed to liberate the people of Israel was also a victim of this circumstance. Samson said "I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the LORD was departed from him." (Judges 16:20)
A man who was suppose to lift the banner of salvation was lying on the laps of an harlot, putting his ministry in jeopardy.
I think you should ask yourself, can i rise like the other times? Are you sure the Spirit of God has not departed from you? Have you not put your own ministry in jeopardy because of what you are doing?
It's time to wake up and shake off that thing that is putting you in the cave. Let out the lion in you and chase away the power of darkness that is ravaging our society. God has called us as his ambassador and we must represent Christ without fear. Go back to your altar and rekindle the fire on it. Don't be scared to tell someone about Jesus.
Shalom
